Mei Ling Ng Liu, MA, MBA
Mei Ling is a distinguished multilingual marketing professional and entrepreneur with a unique global perspective, honed over three decades of living and working across Europe and North America before returning to her home in Hong Kong.
After a celebrated corporate career in international marketing, Mei Ling channeled her expertise into entrepreneurship. She founded, scaled, and successfully exited a thriving business at its peak. This achievement paved the way for her next mission: to address the challenges faced by Hong Kong women navigating a landscape of gender imbalance. Driven by this goal, she trained in modern matchmaking in New York and completed her professional internship in Europe. Upon returning to Hong Kong, she founded HK Matchmakers in 2007. Under her leadership, the company has grown to become the most reputable firm of its kind in Hong Kong and Southern China. Mei Ling is recognized as a leading voice in her field and remains an active member of an elite international circle of top matchmakers.
A respected author, Mei Ling has penned several best-selling books. For four years, she wrote the popular column "The Diamond Matchmaker" in the HK Economic Times, where she was voted one of the publication's top ten columnists. Her compelling insights have made her a sought-after media personality. She first captivated audiences with a television series in Paris, leading to hundreds of subsequent radio and TV appearances on platforms across Hong Kong, Mainland China, Sydney, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Munich, and Frankfurt. A dynamic public speaker, Mei Ling also shared her knowledge as a lecturer on Soft Skills at VTC’s PEAK College for three years.
Committed to giving back, Mei Ling remains deeply engaged in social and community service initiatives.
