Background Check

It certainly helps if a client or a potential match is cooperative, and voluntarily submits all the necessary documents for verification purposes. This would save time, allowing us to move on to the serious business of matchmaking a lot sooner. However, if you are unable to submit documentations required, we do appoint professional companies to conduct background checks on each & every one of our clients, as well as all potential "matches", both men & women. It is a mandatory procedure which requires time, and it is only when we are certain that your resume is truthful would we then move forward to the next stage.

In the preliminary stage, only Standard Checks will be conducted. Advanced Checks and Ultimate Checks shall follow later as and when a maturing relationship so requires.

Standard Check

	Criteria to be checked	Documents required (by voluntary submission)
1	Age 30+	HKID card, birth certificate, or passport.
2	No criminal record	Certificate of No Criminal Conviction available from your local police, or signed Testimonial.
3	Single, divorced or widowed	Legal documents issued by government authorities, Tax returns, or an affidavit.
4	Proof of residential address	Utility bills or Rates (invoices for 3 consecutive months)
5	Proof of employment and/or financial stability	Employment contract + tax returns for employees. Company registration + tax return for self-employed. Or 6 consecutive months' original bank statements.
