The cost of living in Hong Kong is high, apartment prices are exorbitant, not everybody can afford to buy his own home. Sharing a small apartment with parents and siblings can be trying.
A Chinese man with very traditional values might have difficulties accepting a wife who is just as educated or capable and earns just as much as he does if not more. There is no guarantee of course, but mathematically, a matchmaker has a far better chance of finding the right partner for you than you yourself can. We do it systematically, professionally, full time, on purpose, you do it half heartedly, part time, by chance.

3. How secure is your system? Will you be sending my profile all over the world where thousands of people will be able to see it ? how do you protect my privacy?

Our system is absolutely & completely secured. Initially, we only send out a partial synopsis of your profile without your name and without your photo. When we encounter genuine interest, we would then release additional information from your profile by incremental steps. We understand the importance of discretion and have many years of experience in handling sensitive information.
Finally, total disclosure will only be made when a match has been found, is very close to becoming the candidate with strong potentials, and then only with your prior knowledge and consent.

4. Realistically, how long will it take before you find me my first match?
|
The normal lead time ranges from several weeks to several months, a great deal depends on how realistic a client's specific requirements are. For instance, Client A, who herself does not have too much to offer, requests to meet a highly intelligent genius multi billionaire with private airplane and the looks of George Clooney... it's neither going to be quick nor easy. On the contrary, Client B, who is realistic, whose requirements commensurate with her own qualifications & conditions, the search for her will be considerably faster than for Client A.

5. How much do you charge for your services?

The Payment Model is different for men and women. For men, the services are less comprehensive and
less complicated, hence their charges are also less and the payment scale is simpler.
For ladies, our Fees in Hong Kong dollars begin at five digit levels for a Standard Plan, escalating
accordingly for a Silver or a Gold Plan. 90% of our clients prefer one of these 3 Plans. Diamond and
Platinum Plans are also available upon requests. Please discuss details with our Consultants.

6. There are so many charlatans, how can I be sure that HONG KONG MATCHMAKERS is not one of them, will not take my money & suddenly disappear tomorrow ?

- We have a very detailed "Refund Policy" pre-printed for distribution to all visitors at our Coffee Lounge, which explains in explicit terms all the circumstances under which you will be fully or partially refunded.
- Companies who think short term tend to rent their office premises, preferably with very short leases. We did not rent our office, we bought it.
- Our present client acceptance ratio stands at 65/35%, meaning that for every 100 clients who wish to engage our services, we only accept 65. This is the lowest ratio in the trade, which illustrates our cautious attitude. Such cannot be the policy of a company who wishes to "get rich quick", but rather that of a company who wishes to stay in for the long haul.
- Our Directors have the habit of hosting dinner parties for successful couples at their own homes because we treat our clients as friends. It is unlikely that people with dishonorable intentions would want to entertain clients at home.
- We continue to visit clients even after they are married overseas, because we care. It is unthinkable that dishonest merchants would want to do so.
- Apart from being a member of the Matchmaking Institute of New York and the International Matchmakers Association, we are also a member of the HKGCC and EUCC. People with dishonorable intentions do not leave so many leads and open channels for "potential victims" to find them.
