Background Check

We have three different checks : The Standard Check is mandatory for all men and women. This has to be completed before we begin. The Advanced and Ultimate Checks are optional, and shall follow later as and when a maturing relationship so requires.

For the Standard Check, it would certainly help if a client is cooperative, and voluntarily submits all the necessary documents for our verification. This would save time, allowing us to move forward a lot sooner. However, if you are unable to submit documents, we can appoint at an additional fee to you, a professional company to verify your background. We cannot proceed further until clearance has been obtained.

Standard Check

	Criteria to be checked	Documents required (by voluntary submission)
1	Verification of Age	HKID card, birth certificate, or passport.
2	No criminal record	Either a CNCC (certificate of no criminal conviction) or you can sign a Testimonial at our office to this effect.
3	Verification of Marital Status	The “Employer’s Return” of your tax statement says (1) for single/divorced/widowed, and (2) for married. We need this document.
4	Proof of residential address	Utility bills or Rates (invoices for 3 consecutive months). We do not accept P.O.Box numbers as your residential address.
5	Proof of employment and/or financial stability	Employment contract + tax returns for employees. BR + tax return for self-employed. Or 6 months' bank statements.
